Material composition

Acrylic sheet + spray resin (188B) + calcium carbonate powder + fiber glass.

1. Acrylic sheet is a thermoplastic material. It starts to deform at 60°C. The higher the temperature, the greater the deformation.

2.188B resin is a cheap resin. It can be mixed with calcium carbonate powder in a ratio of 1:1.1, where the resin is 1, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing costs. Even after mixing with fiber glass, the strength is not high.

3. From a microscopic point of view, there is no substance without micropores in the world. Even glass has micropores.

Ordinary gel coat + infusion resin + quartz sand + calcium carbonate

1.Gel coat is a thermosetting material. Once cured, it can withstand relatively high temperatures without softening.

2.The ratio of infusion resin to quartz sand + calcium carbonate powder is 0.3:1, of which the resin is 0.3. This mixture is very cheap.

Composite gel coat + vinyl resin + spray resin (517) + calcium carbonate powder + fiber glass + special anti- fouling coating.

1.Composite gel coat: dimethicone + nano ceramic powder + anti-ultraviolet agent. We are the only one in China that has this formula.

2.Vinyl resin: high strength, food grade, high water release, high density, plays an intermediary role between the composite gel coat and the 517 resin behind it.

3.The ratio of 517 resin to calcium carbonate powder is 1:0.25, of which 1 is 517 resin.

4.The special anti-fouling layer comes from the United States and complies with China's food grade certification, European child safety certification and California Act 65. Attached to the surface of the composite gel coat, it is valid for up to 8-10 years. Even if it begins to fail, it will gradually weaken instead of disappearing immediately.

Performance

1.The acrylic sheet of the acrylic bathtub and the resin used for reinforcement at the back do not belong to the same system and cannot be completely integrated. They are just bonded together. Under the repeated action of hot water, there is a risk of separation, which is more obvious when impacted.

2.Cheap acrylic sheets turn yellow under the action of ultraviolet rays (such as sunlight) (China does not have high-end acrylic sheets to make bathtubs).

3.After the acrylic is made into a bathtub, the surface hardness of the acrylic is only 35-40 (it can reach a Barcol hardness of 45 before it is made into a bathtub), and it is very easy to scratch.

4.The surface finish of the acrylic bathtub can only be maintained for 2-3 years. After that, it begins to become less smooth due to repeated wiping, and after multiple wiping, its stain resistance decreases significantly.

5.The impact tolerance is medium. What works is the mixture of resin and fiber glass behind the acrylic, while the acrylic itself will produce cracks and dents when impacted. But it will not penetrate. 6. The overall weight is light, about 35-45Kg (1700㎜).

1.he gel coat and the resin behind it belong to the same system of materials, so they will not separate due to repeated heating or impact.

2.Ordinary gel coats are easy to turn yellow. Even if they are not affected by ultraviolet rays (such as sunlight), they will turn yellow due to the influence of confined space (sealed packaging).

3.This kind of bathtub generally has a smooth surface, so it needs to be polished and polished to achieve a bright surface effect after leaving the mold. However, it is precisely because of this polishing and polishing that the denser surface of the gel coat itself is destroyed, exposing micropores. This micropore is more serious than the micropore of acrylic, and the stain resistance will decrease. The water repellency will also decrease, so there is a situation of non-stain resistance and permanent foaming. However, without polishing, a bright surface cannot be obtained, and the stains will be caused by the release agent.

4.Because it does not contain fiber glass, it is a mixture of resin mixed with quartz sand and calcium carbonate powder, and it will form a relatively large internal stress during curing, which makes it easy to crack, especially when it is repeatedly heated and impacted, the risk of cracking is relatively high.

5.Due to the high ratio of quartz sand and calcium carbonate powder, the product is relatively heavy, about 110-140Kg (1700㎜), which makes transportation and handling difficult, increasing the risk of cracking.

1.The composite gel coat, vinyl resin and the subsequent 517 resin belong to the same system, so these materials are very well combined and cannot be peeled off.

2.Due to the addition of an anti-ultraviolet formula, the white bathtub will not turn yellow significantly, even after 5 or 10 years, unless compared with a newly produced bathtub, it will not turn yellow, but the closed plastic film packaging will cause yellowing, so we use non-woven fabrics.

3.The rock convex and concave matte texture on the surface of the bathtub is currently the most popular texture in Europe and the United States and is also the only one in the world, with an invention patent. Because of the convex and concave and matte effects on the surface, it cannot be ground or polished, retaining the dense layer on the surface of the gel coat, plus the American stain-resistant layer and the effect of nano- ceramic powder, forming a stain-resistant and scratch- resistant surface property.

4.The spraying of composite gel coat, vinyl resin and the mixed spraying of spray-type 517 resin and fiber glass are each processed by our unique short-wave infrared curing technology. A product needs to go through 5 such treatments to obtain a hard scratch-resistant surface and a tough overall structure, showing the characteristics of not being damaged by a 5-pound hammer impact, which is unmatched by acrylic bathtubs and traditional artificial stone bathtubs.

5.The overall weight is about 60-70Kg (1700㎜), which is easy to carry.

Exterior

1.Acrylic bathtubs are a relatively old technology with a simple production process but high production efficiency. Therefore, many factories are producing them. There are many similar products on the market.

2.Due to the limitations of the production process, this type of bathtub product has a strong sense of plasticity, a strong sense of cheapness, and a low texture. The lines, planes, curves and other factors that affect the beauty of the product are all limited.

1.The production process is more complicated than acrylic, and the production efficiency is not high.

2.The infusion process can obtain relatively good flat surfaces, straight lines and undistorted curved surfaces, and the aesthetic shape of the product can be guaranteed.

3.It is impossible to obtain a variety of colors. The colors available on the market use the method of spraying paint on the surface of the bathtub (can only be used on the outside of the bathtub, and the paint cannot directly contact the skin). Since the paint and the gel coat are not the same system, the paint has a relatively low adhesion to the bathtub and is easy to peel off.

1.The production process is complicated and the production efficiency is not high.

2.Because it is demoulded after curing, you can get a good flat surface, straight line and curved surface. The convex and concave rock texture is a unique texture.

3.Multi-color presentation. Since we developed this composite gel coat, we have 9 colors to choose from, including the interior of the bathtub, and it is safe and harmless to the human body. These colors will never peel off.

MouldRelatively low price, low mold precision requirements, each mold can produce 50- 100 products per day.Compared with acrylic bathtub molds, the price is high, 2 times, and each mold can produce 1-2 per day, so a lot of molds are needed. The mold price is more than 5 times the price of acrylic. Each mold can produce 1 piece per day, so a lot of molds are needed.
